May Day

ImageEvery time i pass Lush, which is not as often as one would like, i buy myself something i’ve not yet purchased. I’m also a little fussy so finding what i like can be a little difficult at times, but on passing few i had yet to try, i came across this adorable creature.

Keep our badgers alive. For every one of these fruity, sweet-smelling bath bombs that’s sold, all the proceeds (minus the VAT) will go towards anti-badger cull projects in the UK, including Save Me. So drop a badger in the bath and help stop the cull! With fennel oil to stimulate your skin, and antiseptic rosewood oil to soothe and uplift. Its sweet, sherberty fragrance will leave you feeling calm and revived.” – Lush

It wasn’t just the adorable face which enticed me, the smell of Bergamot sums up a large proportion of my childhood, and thus, i was hooked. Bergamot (Citrus bergamia) is said to be ‘sunshine in a bottle’: its fresh, sweet, fruity scent has an uplifting, cheerful effect, easing tension, and encouraging sleep.“- Lush

As well as helping the badger cause, it’s a wonderfully uplifting bath-bomb with great wellbeing properties including: Antiseptic and uplifting from the Rosewood oil and cleansing and brightening from the fennel oil, to mention a few.

    1. You may also like the Porridge soap. It’s an exfoliant as well as a cleanser and is far from drying.
[I got myself 100g of it and it lasted quite a while!]
