In the land of Los Angeles, a menagerie of ethnologic stars came together to celebrate the world of the screen.
The stars Instagrammed and tweeted the night, whilst insiders did the same and photographers snapped away, keeping all the normal folk both informed and entertained. The likes of Eddie Redmayne, Kevin Spacey, Viola Davis and the cast of Downtown Abbey, were amongst some of the illustrious beings to grace the stage, where they accepted small metal men as a prize of their outstanding works.
But, more than anything, a fashion tale emerged. As the men, all dapper and sharp walked alongside beautifully embellished gowns, it’s what nobody could take their eyes off. Kiera Knightly dazzled in a baby bump and Erdem, Sarah Hyland wandered the red carpet in Custom Vera Wang; this was as her on-screen sister Ariel Winter rocked the red carpet in Zac Posen, leaving Emma Stone to shine in Dior Couture. Emillia Clarke looked like she’d just dropped by in old-hollywood Glamour, which came in the from of a Donna Karan Atelier gown, as did Felicity Jones in Balenciaga. Gwendoline Christine shone in an orange Giles dress, closely followed by Sophia Bush who aroused us in an orange Vivienne Westwood dress.
This fashion tale could go on, but for now, i’ll end it here, until the next awards that it…
